This cookbook offers gorgeous pictures along with each delicious-sounding dessert recipe. The book is very nicely laid out with a helpful description of each recipe to start, and tips, variations, and hacks at the end of most recipes. I like that it seems the author is well-versed in cooking these recipes and wants you to be successful, too. There are so many delectable desserts, I can’t decide which to try first! The recipes are not for those watching their calorie intake, but we need the special occasion treats too! I particularly liked the giant chocolate chip cookies! There are some must try recipes in this collection. I like how you added some extra tips on how to create variety within each recipe by doing little changes like added salt. I only wish I could find recipes like this that don’t use fat. All sugar and no fat is a growing niche in the desert world as the “fat free” trend from the old days is fighting back against the low carb trend that replaced it.

Well, this book is certainly what it claims to be – not for the sugar free, diet conscious or tea totaller – the recipes in this book are rich, chocolatey, and sublime! I was drawn in to the cover which is like the lolly shops of old – and as I opened up each delectable page, the images and willy wonka world feel grabbed me. Honestly, some of the photographs had me at ‘HELLO!’ especially the NYC REd Velvet Cookies – and the author even popped in an Aussie favorite – this Aussie chick was THRILLED. I love a good cookbook and if you are looking for something special or a sweet treat for your sweet, look no further. The choc mint options were particularly amazing!
